The Manawatu Women's Senior Representative side claimed the regions first title of the season in winning the Central Districts title after dismantling Taranaki by a massive 140 runs. A week prior the Manawatu Women produced a solid performance to beat the highly touted Hawkes Bay side at Manawaroa Park in Palmerston North. Aero Player of the Week - Roald Badenhorst This Weeks Aero Player of the Week is PNBHS opener Roald Badenhorst who scored a brilliant 100 not out against United. Badenhorst, a CD Under 17 rep last season, built his innings nicely before going ballastic in the last few overs scoring his second fifty in 21 balls as had dispatched former CD Stag Scott Baldwin for 23 off the last over to bring up his ton.
