Rain books United's place in Final
United booked its place in the Manawatu Premier One final when Rain meant the abandonment of the penultimate round of the One-day competition on Saturday. While Mainstream Freyberg could potentially tie United on points, as United has twice beaten them this season United are guaranteed to advance straight to the final. However the playoff between the 2nd and 3rd top qualifiers is still up for grabs between Marist, Old Boys, PNBHS and Mainstream Freyberg who are in the box seat for one of the spots.
