General Manager: Jason Fletcher

Jason started with the Manawatū Cricket Association as General Manager in 2025. 

Jason brings more than a decade of sport administration experience to MCA gained in prior roles with Squash New Zealand and Sport Manawatū. Before moving into the sports sector, Jason had almost 20 years working in retail banking and finance. Along with his organisational experience, Jason has an excellent record in coach development and as a high performance coach.

Jason is deeply connected to Manawatū cricket having played representative, club and secondary school cricket in the region. He played for the PNBHS 1st XI that won the inaugural Gillette Cup [now Boys First XI cup], senior club cricket for the Palmerston Cricket Club and then going on to represent the Manawatū Men’s team.

Competitions & Pathway Facilitator: Cole Freeman

Cole has started at Manawatū Cricket Association as the Competitions and Pathway Facilitator after previously working in the role of Youth Cricket Coordinator.

Cole oversees the representative & development programmes, senior club cricket, twilight cricket, and is the superuser for PlayHQ.

Junior Cricket Co-ordinator: Harry Wenham

Harry joined the team at the start of the 2025/26 season. Harry has been involved in Manawatū Cricket for a long time, representing Manawatū age-group teams and more recently the senior mens representative team. Harry is looking after all things junior cricket this season.
