Cole Freeman - MCA Kaiarahi Rangatahi: Youth Cricket Coordinator
The MCA would like to welcome Cole Freeman to the team.
Cole joins the MCA as Kaiarahi Rangatahi: Youth Cricket Co-ordinator. (Kaiārahi: leader, mentor, guide. Rangatahi: The younger generation; youth)
Cole has recently finished a Bachelors Degree in Sports Management at Massey University and adds valuable skills to the team at MCA.
Cole's strengths include relationship building, communication, and having a passion for youth development. Cole was a member of our Summer Squad of coaches last summer and impressed with his coaching, organisation and professional approach.
Cole has played age-group representative cricket in the Wairarapa since the age of 10 so knows the environment well.
His role as Kaiarahi Rangatahi will include designing youth programmes, leading our secondary schools and junior club cricket, and being the point of contact for all junior cricket within the region.
