Manawatū Cricket Association

It was great to see so many girls joining us for the holiday programme. It was a great few days building relationships, building skills and confidence in preparation for the up and coming season. 

The skill development was amazing; all girls put their efforts into each task and saw the benefits at the end. The most significant improvement was seen in their batting; the girls learnt the techniques of driving a ball, engaging their shoulder and bat swing. The power created by each of the participants was incredible, and we look forward to seeing many boundaries scored by these girls in the season ahead.
